Ah man... Kopcity... that game I was dreaming up and messing with from the moment I first touched a PC until around late 2024 (if you wanna read more about that whole PC phase of my life, check out this post).

It was basically a crazy mix of Welcome to Bloxburg + super old-school 2009 Roblox, packed with tons of stuff to do.

I wanted minigames, a cool menu, actual usable PCs with their own little operating systems, phones you could actually use with OS features, building houses brick by brick… all that good stuff.

Things kept going until around March 2025, when it was finally time to actually code—and I just… couldn’t get Lua (Roblox’s scripting language) into my brain no matter how hard I tried.

There was this dude called noobniceproductions who would throw ideas at me, but honestly I’m pretty sure he never touched the game himself lol.

I’ve got a ridiculous amount of leftovers from it: traces all over Reddit, YouTube, my phone gallery…

I made a super basic logo at first, then tried to redesign it later. Here it is:

I also drew these awful, messy comics with the cringiest jokes ever—like the kind of humor that kills a laughing fit instantly. And the worst part? I posted them proudly on the comics subreddit

At one point my PC straight-up dieD

Oh and here’s a shot of the city itself:

You can still kinda visit the map (it’s super buggy though) here: Kopcity on Roblox

I even made a chaotic little Reddit community r/kopcity full of “updates” and promises I never delivered on lol. Pure vibes and dreams only.

And yeah, a couple YouTube traces too:

That’s pretty much the story. A massive project that never really happened, but damn it left a mark. Hope you enjoyed this messy little nostalgia trip haha
